About
Grace Haven Restoration Home, Inc.
Grace Haven Restoration Home, Inc. is a Christ-centered nonprofit ministry serving women who are rebuilding their lives after addiction, incarceration, treatment, and other difficult circumstances. Our mission is rooted in a simple belief: God does not give up on anyone.
Women often come to Grace Haven after being overlooked, written off, or told they will never change. We believe something different. We believe that through the grace of God, healthy relationships, accountability, and the life-changing power of Jesus Christ, restoration is possible.
Grace Haven Restoration Home, Inc. currently provides two programs designed to meet women at different stages of that journey:
Grace Haven
Women's Restoration Program
Our Women's Restoration Program is a certified Level 3 recovery residence providing a structured, long-term residential environment for women ready for a fresh start after incarceration or treatment, or for those seeking freedom from addiction.
The program typically lasts 9-months to one year and provides structure, accountability, biblical teaching, recovery support, life-skills development, mentorship, and opportunities for women to build a healthy foundation for their future.
Grace Haven is largely volunteer-driven, and many of our volunteers are graduates who now give back the same hope, grace, and support they once received.
Our goal isn't simply for women to stop using substances. We want to see women discover who they are in Christ, experience genuine freedom and healing, rebuild their lives and relationships, and develop the stability and skills necessary to move forward with purpose.
Grace Haven
Women's Transitional Housing Program
Our Women's Transitional Housing Program provides a next step for women who have already established a foundation of stability and recovery but are not yet ready—or do not yet have the resources—to move completely into independent housing.
Transitional Housing offers greater independence while maintaining a safe, Christ-centered environment with continued accountability and support.
The focus shifts from intensive residential programming toward building a sustainable independent life—maintaining employment and income, managing finances, saving money, strengthening recovery and support systems, developing healthy routines, and preparing for permanent housing.
Rather than expecting every woman to reach stability on the same timeline, we recognize that restoration and rebuilding take time. Transitional Housing provides a bridge between structured residential living and successful independent living.
Our Facility
Grace Haven operates within Gateway Ministries' building. Our residential space includes ten sleeping rooms, a separate sleeping room for volunteers, an exercise area, craft room, common sitting area, fully functional kitchen with laundry space, and a shared bathroom.
It isn't fancy, but it is safe, structured, and filled with grace.
Our Vision
Our vision is to build a community of resilient women redeemed by the love of God.
We want to see women move from surviving to thriving—from needing support to becoming women who support others. As they heal and rebuild, they strengthen their families, serve their communities, share the hope they were given, and become living proof that transformed lives can help transform others.
Ways You Can Help
Prayer
Pray for Grace Haven, the women we serve, our graduates, volunteers, staff, and leadership. Prayer is not secondary to what we do—it is essential. We believe lasting transformation comes through Jesus Christ.
Financial Support
Financial partners make both restoration and transition possible. Your support helps provide safe housing, programming, practical resources, and opportunities for women who are working to rebuild their lives.
When you give, you are sowing into changed lives, restored families, stronger communities, and eternal impact.
Donations
We have ongoing needs for food, bedding, cleaning supplies, toiletries, hygiene products, and other household necessities. Our current needs can be found through our Amazon needs list.
Volunteer
Grace Haven has always been strengthened by people willing to show up and serve. Volunteer opportunities may include:
-
Facilitating Bible studies, recovery groups, or life-skills classes
-
Providing support, mentorship, or encouragement rooted in God's grace
-
Helping with transportation, activities, fundraising, or practical needs
-
Spending time with residents and providing consistent, healthy support
-
Using your individual gifts and skills to meet needs within the ministry
Many of the women serving at Grace Haven today once needed someone else to show up for them. That is the heart of what we hope to continue building—a community where grace received becomes grace given.
“Find a need and fill it. Find a hurt and heal it.”
